The Brief
Founders Jarryd and Mitch frequently wondered, 'Where do these stubby holders come from?' This sparked the idea to develop a system for tracking stubby holders. Partnering with the web software development company OK200, we aim to build a fun and lighthearted brand experience for this everyday product. The brand will feature an innovative tracking feature and a dedicated application linked to the stubby holders with a QR code, and a brand launch with five unique stubby holder designs. It is also important to create a brand identity that is unique, yet flexible to suit different collections, and potential corporate brand collaborations.
Creative Strategy
Our solution for this project involved crafting a unique persona for each stubby holder design, giving each one its own character and story to resonate with our audience. We developed a brand tone that embraces a lighthearted and playful approach, reflecting a product that is simple, yet innovative and fun. By associating each stubby holder with a distinct persona, we want users to connect emotionally with the commodity product, enhancing their experience and encouraging them to celebrate life's moments with friends and family.
The Outcome
We created a range of five stubby holders called "The Classics," each featuring its own stereotypical persona and unique design. The Travy brand tone embraces a philosophy of fun, highlighting the characters behind each stubby holder and celebrating memories worth remembering in Australian culture, particularly around food, drink, and good company. We intentionally incorporated drawn-back elements of the Travy branding on each stubby holder, allowing for flexibility in future collections and corporate collaborations. On social media, Travy content is designed to grab the audience's attention, showcasing the brand's irreverent personality and providing a cohesive brand experience across all platforms.
